Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sepulse Sàrl (“Sepulse”, “we”) processes personal data on sepulse.net. We keep data collection to a minimum and store it in Switzerland.

1 · Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here is Sepulse Sàrl, 1820 Montreux, Switzerland. For any question or request about your data, write to contact@sepulse.net.

2 · What we collect, and why

  • Newsletter (“Keep me informed”). If you submit your email address, we use it solely to send you the updates you asked for. We use double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email and are only added once you click the link, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every message. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Technical data. Our host records standard server logs (including your IP address) to operate and protect the site against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security and reliability. These logs are kept only briefly.

3 · Cookies, local storage and analytics

We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. With your consent, we use Infomaniak’s privacy-first analytics to measure how our sign-up form performs; this loads only after you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via the “Cookies” link in the footer. We also store two functional items in your browser that need no consent: your language choice (English or French) and your cookie choice itself. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

4 · Who processes your data

We host this site and run our newsletter with Infomaniak SA, a Swiss provider. Your data is stored on Infomaniak’s infrastructure in Switzerland and is not transferred outside Switzerland. We do not sell or rent your data, and we share it only with service providers acting on our instructions (processors) or where the law requires it.

5 · How long we keep it

  • Newsletter email — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are removed automatically.
  • Server logs — a short period, for security purposes.

6 · Your rights

Under Swiss data-protection law (and the GDPR where it applies), you can request access to your data, as well as its correction or deletion, and you can restrict or object to processing and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@sepulse.net. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you are in the EU, your local supervisory authority.

7 · Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site evolves. The date at the top shows the current version.
